Born in Union on July 6, 1957, son of Vernon V. Abee, Jr. (1938–2012) and Joyce Haney Abee (1938–2015).
A graduate of Union High School, formerly worked with Laurens County Healthcare System, enjoyed bottle collecting, was a talented mechanic who could repair most anything, and was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include daughters, Alison Quaranta (Sean) and Leigh Abee; son, Jeff Abee (Breanna); sister, Peggy Hollingsworth (Tim); and a special friend, Deb South.
Funeral services were held at 4:00 p, Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Morningside Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Eddie Saxon; burial was in Union Memorial Gardens.
