Alma Christina married Andrew Jacobson. They had two children, Rudolph, born in 1892 and Carl born in 1900. They also adopted Vera J who was born in 1905.

As I understand, they were not appreciated in the area as they treated minority residents as they would treat there white neighbors, a notion not accepted by the native Virginians at the time.
From there they moved to a Swedish community in Hubbard County, MN. She sold milk and butter to the town residents and delivered their babies at all hours of the day and night and in all seasons, regardless of the weather.
She died of cancer.
