Randall Steven "Randy" Stump, 58, of Penhook, Va., passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010. He attended William Fleming High School, graduated from National Business College, and was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam era. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Boyd Stump; and is survived by his mother, Lillie Angell Stump, of Troutville; sister and brotherin-law, Carol and Dave Reger, of Roanoke; son, Jeremy L. Stump; three grandchildren; and numerous cousins. In addition to his family, Randy will also be missed by his faithful dog and companion, Buddy. A Graveside Service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Franklin Memorial Park with the Rev. Carter L. Sloan officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's East Chapel, 540-977-3909.
