Visitation for Howard Leroy Kendall, 93, of St. Anne, will be from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Ervin Funeral Home, Kankakee. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Sun River Terrace, where he was a member. Rev. Robert P. Ervin will officiate.
Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens. He died Sunday (July 30, 2006) in Kankakee.
Mr. Kendall was an ink technician for Handschy Chemicals in Chicago. He was born Sept. 4, 1912, in Pine Bluff, Ark., the son of Tom and Addie Peoples Kendall. His wife, the former Florence Johnson, whom he married in 1948, in Chicago, is deceased. He was a village trustee in Sun River Terrace and treasurer for Ganeer Township. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
