Funeral services for Jimmy Abiney, 19, of route 4, who died at 8:43 p.m. Sunday shortly after a one-car accident at Three Oaks, Michigan, are pending at the Haverstock Funeral home. The deceased was the son of Ahlie and Lucille (Smith) Abiney.

2 Area Men Die In Crash
Two La Porte area young men were killed about 7:30 La Porte time Sunday night in a crash in Three Oaks, Michigan, and a third victim is listed in critical condition.
Dead are Steven Levandoski, 18, of route 4, and James Abiney, 19, of route 4. In critical condition at St. Anthony hospital in Michigan City is Peter Wikel, 19, of 607 Ridge Street.
Levandoski suffered a fatal skull fracture and was pronounced dead at the scene on West Locust Street.
Abiney died enroute to the hospital of a skull fracture, internal injuries and multiple cuts. Wikel suffered severe head injuries and multiple lacerations and is in St. Anthony's intensive care unit.
State police investigating the crash, said Abiney was westbound on West Locust Street when he lost control, crossed the roadway and rammed a tree on the opposite side of the road.
Police said they found the car in four twisted pieces.
The deaths were fifth and six in Berrien County in 1970.
