She was born March 10, 1908 in Hill County, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, A.B. Boman, Carlsbad; one son, Herbert Lee Lindsey, Wichita Falls, Texas; a daughter, Doris Ann Ford, Wichita Falls; and four grandchildren.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Penecost Baptist Church for Mattie Lee Boman, 77, 710 Hueco, Apt. 3, who died March 5, 1986 in a local nursing home. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery. The Rev. A.M. Mackey, Penecost Baptist Church, will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be A.B. Boman Jr., Bennie Thompson, Daniel Hutson, Robert Mason, Bobbie Johnson and Oscar Wilson.
Other survivors include: two step-daughters, Jessie Mae Gates and Fay Rene Ingram, both of Carlsbad; and two step-sons, A.B. Boman Jr., Carlsbad, and James Edward Boman, of Los Angeles, Calif.
