Reno Edward Arcuri, 81, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday (Oct. 3, 2010).
He was born in Fairmont on Nov.
4, 1928, son of the late Antonio and Marietta Covelli Arcuri.
Reno was a former employee of Benedum Airport in Bridgeport, and retired from Pan American Airlines as a supply manager. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Reno was an avid WVU foot­ball fan and enjoyed dancing. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus, Moose and Elks clubs of Fairmont.
He is survived by a sister, Alveta Arcuri; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Joseph, Dominick, John, Angelo, Victor, Orlando and Frank; and three sisters, Fanny Arcuri, Isabell Arcuri Hodge and Lucy Arcuri Brown.
Family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday with a vigil being held at 7:30 p.m., officiat­ed by Deacon David Lester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Father Andrew Lukas as celebrant, assisted by Deacon David Lester. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Fairmont.
