"Mrs Wave L Blakeslee - Services were held yesterday afternoon at the Torrey funeral home in Spartansburg for Mrs Wave L Blakeslee who passed away Tuesday. A large assembly gathered to pay tribute to one whose life motto has been doing for others. She had served as secretary of the Sparta Grange over a period of twelve years. The services were conducted by Rev C A Fuller of the Centerville Baptist church. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, with the following as pall bearers: Charles, Everett and Arthur Himebaugh, and Paul Blakeslee. The floral offerings were many and beautiful and attested to the high esteem and love in which the deceased was held by relatives, friends and neighbors. Surviving are the husband, Wave L Blakeslee, and two children, Lucille, at home, and Cameron of Camp Polk, LA; also her parents, Mr and Mrs J C Himebaugh; one sister, Miss Laura Himebaugh; three brothers, Charles, Everett and Arthur Himebaugh, all of Centerville.
