George Meinyer died as the result of injuries sustained when he was struck by an automobile, while riding a bicycle in Portland. George Meinyer was hit by Henry Louis Ludwick Rapacz, who could not stop his automobile quickly enough to avoid a collisiion, because of the slippery condition of the pavement.
