The death of Mrs Frank C Hendrix Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Hannibal caused her many friends in New London a great shock. Mrs. Hendrix was taken illa few days previous and suffered greatly. She was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon of last week and was operated on soon after her arrival, the operation being one of emergency. She suffered from locked bowels.

She was born and reared in that city, where she graduated from high school and for several years was associated with her father in the Tomlinson Studio. She was married nine years ago to Frank C Hendrix of New London. To this union were born three children—Alice Margaret, Lloyd Trammel and Ruth Armida. Mrs. Hendrix was a good woman and had a host of friends, both in New London and in Hannibal. Her death is sincerely regretted by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband and three children named above, her mother, Mrs. Margaret Tomlinson of Hannibal, two sisters, Mrs E H Frazer of Hannibal and Miss Vera Tomlinson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Two brothers, Herbert W Tomlinson of Chicago and Ralph L Tomlinson of New London. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the New London Christian church, conducted by Rev J B Trotter of Hannibal. Interment was in Barkley Cemetery.
