Williamsfield, Il. ~ Funeral services for Fred Leroy Smith 75, of Williamsfield, who died July 3 in St. Mary's Hospital, were held Tuesday at the Williamsfield Methodist Church. The Rev. Vincent Will officiated. Organ selections were played by Mrs. John Snare.
Mr. Smith was born Oct. 23, 1884, in Elba Township and spent his boyhood at Elba Center. Later he entered Gem City College in Quincy, where he received his education.
He was married to Miss Winnie Radcliffe Sept. 20, 1911, who survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Leo Legon of Peoria; a son Willis of Williamsfield, and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Trowbridge.
Pallbears were Royce Sargeant, Arnold Thompson, Warren Doubet, J. Ross Baird, James O. Baird and John Snare.
