Mildred Ellen Johnson Landers, 94, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born September 28, 1913, in Prentiss County to Samuel Jeptha and Amanda Blizzard Johnson. While making her home in Memphis most of her life, she had also lived over 20 years in Tupelo. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ and until her health failed attended Skyline Church of Christ.
