BARKER, Eugene "Gene" Age 75, of Miami Township, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Gene was the son of the late Henderson & Ora Barker of Miamisburg, OH. His sisters, Kathleen, Trudy, Edna, and his brothers Joseph & Earl also preceded him in death.
Gene was born on September 6, 1931 in Miamisburg, OH. He graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1950. He served honorably in the United States Naval Reserve and worked for Delco Moraine, Globe Industries, Standard Register and had retired from Copeland Industries.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughter Susan Pence and her husband Scott of New Lebanon; 2 sons, Thomas Eugene Barker of Cleveland and Jerry Allen Barker and his wife Lisa of Charlotte, NC; 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Cameron & Leigh Ann Barker.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from the GEBHART-SCHMIDT- PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
