Prominent Hotel Man County Native
Louis Charles Wallick, 79, prominent former hotel owner and former resident of Tuscarawas co, died at 1:30 a. m. today at Columbus.
Mr. Wallick had been ill one week with a heart condition. He died at his home in Columbus.
Mr. Wallick who was born in Tuscarawas co near Barrs Mills and resided in New Philadelphia at one time, retired as president of the Deshler-Wallick Hotel Co. four years ago.
He was a member of the Columbus Club and the Tavern Club of New York City and was widely known throughout hotel circles.
Surviving are his wife Martha Obetz Wallick; one son Duane Amherst of New Hampshire; two grandchildren; and three brothers, W. A. Wallick of this city; A. L. of Columbus and London Wallick of New York City.
Funeral services will be held at the Wier Funeral Home in Columbus and burial will be in East Avenue cemetery here.
Funeral services will be held 3 p. m. Wednesday at the Wier Funeral Home in Columbus and graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p. m. at East Avenue cemetery in this city with Rev. Eugene J. Mansfield officiating.
