Mary Boozer Frankfother remarried in 1886 to Harlow Hill

Cora Frankfother Bosler, Mary's granddaughter, recalled in later years that her grandmother was a very spirited woman, and urged her granddaughter to read everything she could to educate herself because men would try to keep her stupid.

Weekly Beacon, North Baltimore, Ohio, January 24, 1913

Mrs. Mary Frankfother, aged 81 years, a well known pioneer lady of this county, passed away at her home in Jerry City about noon Monday, after suffering for a long time from various ills connected with a general hardening of the arteries. She was a native of Lisbon, Ohio, and moved to this county in 1846, since which time she has lived in this section. Her husband, David Frankfother, passed away 34 years ago. O.D. and William Frankfother (several words unreadable) Eli of Louisiana are surviving sons. The funeral services were held yesterday morning.
