Mary Ellzabeth Hastings, formerly of this village, died May 17, 1943, after a brief illness. Born here, she was the daughter of Matthew E. and Hannah Beard Hastings. She attended local schools and was a member of Wolcott Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three brothers, Walter, Matthew, and David, all of this village, also nieces and nephews. The funeral will be tomorrow afternoon from the Dimbleby Funeral Home Whitesboro, with the Rev. Charles officiating. Burial will be in Glenside Cemetery, New York Mills.
