Mr. Vorice Meche, 75, of Church Point died at 1 p.m. Friday, July 29 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Services were held Saturday, July 30 at 11 a.m. in the St. Edward catholic Church in Richard. Burial was in the new OLSH Cemetery, under the direction of Guidry Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elmire LeJune of Church Point; two sons, Albun and Lubert Meche of Church Point; two sisters, Mrs. Wade Matte and Mrs. Eula Bellard both of Church Point; one grandchild.
