Mr. Charlie Richard Tucker, age 67, of Richmond, formerly of Phenix, Va., died in a local hospital, Monday, January 22, 1973.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Garrett Tucker; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Thomas of Charlotte Court House, Mrs. Margaret Moore of Phenix and Mrs. Doris Cage of Virginia Beach; four sons, Billy Tucker of Charlotte Court House, A.B. Tucker of Lucama, N.C., Lewis Ray and Roger Dale Tucker, both of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hamlett of Petersburg, Mrs. Alice Morriss of South Boston and Mrs. Mae Abernathy of Petersburg: two brothers, Tom C. Tucker of Byesville, Ohio and Norman Tucker of North Side, N.C., 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 24, at 2 p.m. from the Rough Creek Presbyterian Church near Phenix. Interment was in the church cemetery.
