Dora S. Bingham Dies In Missoula, Funeral Pending

Dora S. Bingham, 59, chief operator for Mountain States Telephone Company, and wife of Grant Bingham, 1400 Boulder, died early today in a Missoula hospital.

Mrs. Bingham was born Nov. 25, 1905, in Marysville, the daughter of Thomas C. and Flora Surman Gummow. She attended schools in Marysville and Helena. She had been employed by the Mountain States Telephone Company for 25 years. She was a member of the Elks Auxiliary and 25-Year Pioneer Club.

Surviving in addition to her husband, whom she married in Helena on Jan. 18, 1936, are two sons, Clyde Mayer and Clifford Mayer, both of Helena; several grandchildren; brother, Clyde Gummow; six sisters, Mrs. Minnie McKinney, Mrs. Norman (Lucille) Matthews, Mrs. Michael (Viola) Curry, Mrs. Lawrence (Gerald) Christensen, Mrs. Jess (Bernice) Fletcher, and Mrs. Charles (Cleo) Mulvaney, her mother; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Her father died on Nov. 17, 1947.
