Mrs. Elizabeth Mannenbach, 83, of Mt. Calvary, died Wednesday afternoon at her home.
Born March 9, 1894, at Mt. Calvary, she was a daughter of the late Fredrick and Lucy Sippel Bleuel, and attended Mt. Calvary Grade School. On Nov. 23, 1915, she was married to Frank P. Mannenbach at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary.
After the marriage, the couple owned and operated the Mannenbach Funeral Home at Mt. Calvary. She was a member of Holy Cross Church at Mt. Calvary, Christian Mothers Society, Mt. Calvary Area Senior Citizens Center and Villa Loretto Nursing Home where she was a weekly volunteer.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Aloys (Dorothy) Krebsbach of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Roy (Gladys) Butz of St. Cloud and [living] of Mt. Calvary; and three sons, Jerome of Albany, Ore., Francis of Fond du Lac and [living] of New Holstein.
Other survivors include 39 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William Smith of Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. Ray Rieder of Route 1, Malone; and two brothers, Carl Bleuel of Fond du Lac and Anthony Bleuel of route 1, Mt. Calvary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter, three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Mt. Calvary. The Rev. Rupert Dorn will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation for Mrs. Mannenbach will be after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in her name at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary.
