DELAWARE, Ohio — Adam Charles Wasielewski, 6, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

He was born July 13, 2003, in Columbus, to Chris and Marcia Orr Wasielewski.

He attended kindergarten at Smith Elementary School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He played baseball at Bellepoint and enjoyed swimming, skate boarding, playing outside with friends, camping, boating, video games and especially golfing. He was an avid KISS and Gene Simmons fan and also enjoyed kissing as well.

He is survived by his parents; a sister, Emma; his paternal grandfather, James (Jane) Wasielewski of Westerville, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Richard (Patricia) Orr of Saegertown; maternal great-grandmother, Valeria Blasinski of Meadville; four uncles, Greg (Denise) Wasielewski of Orefield, Steven (Melissa) Orr of Linesville, Bryan Orr of Pittsburgh and Kevin Orr of Saegertown; and five cousins, Allyson, Ryan, Tyler, Jess and Kristi.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lynda Wasielewski; paternal great-grandmother, Sophie Wasielewski; and maternal great-grandfather, Walter Blasinski.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware.

Funeral Mass to celebrate Adam's life will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William St., Delaware, with Father James Black as celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

The St. Mary Bereavement Committee will then host a reception, immediately following the graveside services, in the Rodman Neeper Community Room.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Adam Wasielewski Fund c/o any PNC Bank branch.

In keeping with Adam's spirit, casual attire is requested, so please feel free to wear your favorite ball uniform, Hawaiian shirt, or KISS T-shirt.
