On Friday October 8, 2010, Cohen Michael Johnson left this world to be with our Lord in Heaven.

Cohen was 3 years old spending his love filled days with his parents in Post Falls, Idaho and his family and friends in the greater Spokane area.

Cohen blessed this world with his presence on April 11, 2007. He was born at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane to his parents Jeremy R. Johnson and Jennifer A. Gamble.

Cohen had an enthusiasm for life which included but was not limited to, his family, friends, all creatures great and small, and especially trains!

Cohen was later joined by his sister Peyton S. Miller and together they loved and feuded in true sibling style.

Cohen will live on through the hearts and memories of those closest to him; his parents Jeremy and Jenny. Of special note are his grandparents Mike and Chris Cavanaugh; Mike, who Cohen was a namesake for and has lived up to everything wonderful he was named after, and Chris, who was everything and more that a grandmother should be. His great-grandparents Ted and Mary Shepard who so tenderly loved their great-grandson; his grandparents Danny and Sara Johnson and great-grandparents Bill and Raili Johnson; his aunts and uncles: Erin and Gilbert Castillo, Preston and Brittany Perkins, Molly Johnson, and Alycia Egli; his cousins: Bella and Alli Castillo, Dylan and Katelynn Egli and many more family and friends.

The family would like to release the following statement: "As the parents and family of Cohen Johnson, we thank all of our friends and family as well as the members of our community who continue to pray and support us through this most difficult time. We also thank the Sacred Heart Medical Center staff, especially Cohen's doctors and nurses, for their guidance, care, and empathy. We thank them not just on Cohen's behalf, but also for us and all our close family and friends. We continue to ask for privacy and discretion regarding this matter. We will remember Cohen not for the way he left us, but for the brilliant life he gave us. We hope others might do the same. Thank you very much for your understanding."
