James D. Adkins Dies
James D. Adkins died Saturday evening at his home in Nashua. Mr. Adkins was born May 29, 1852 in Platte County, and was son of Buford D. Adkins and Margaret Bevins Adkins. He was married to Mary Ellen Osgood, September 12, 1899.
Mr. Adkins lived most of his life in Platte County, only moving to Nashua two months ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Adkins, and two daughters, Mrs. Benny Creason of Kansas City, and Mrs. Nadine Norris of Parkville and five grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2 oclock, at Second Creek by Rev. Hannah.
