Born on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 1951, in Americus, GA., she was the eighth of thirteen children of the late Juel Lee Denson Sr. and the late Gladys (Preston) Denson.
Ms. Denson graduated from the High School of Commerce and attended the University of Mass. at Amherst. She was employed at Brightwood School(Springfield) as a paraprofessional.
Pre-deceased by a brother, Juel Denson Jr. and a sister, Elizabeth Bess, she is survived by a beloved son, Jermaine Thomas Denson of New York; four brothers, Louis Denson, John Denson and Calvin Denson, all of Springfield, Ernest Denson of California; seven sisters, Tina Nero of Rhode Island and Rebecca Roman, Luvonne Denson, Mary Helen Denson, Gladys "Tina" Kilpatrick, Elvira Shepard and Mary L. Robinson all of Springfield; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and other relatives; as well as many, many friends to mourn her passing and celebrate her homegoing.
