SHE MARRIED JACK BENNETT ATCHLEY 4 AUG 1947 IN WHITFIELD COUNTY, GEORGIA. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: LOWELL DUANE ATCHLEY.

VIRGINIA ETHEL ANDERSON WAS THE SIBLING OF JAMES ELMER, ADA PEARL BLANCHE, MARY KATE, ANDREW JACKSON, NARMEL HELEN, WILLIAM GEORGE, BETTY LOU, J C, LOWELL ONEAL AND CARSON JUNIOR ANDERSON.

BURIAL PER TENNESSEE DEATH CERTIFICATE.

CHURCH HILL (Spl.) – Mrs. Virginia E. Atchley, 24, died at Holston Valley Community Hospital at 7 a.m. Tuesday. She had been in ill health for the past year.

Surviving are her husband, Jack Atchley; one son, Lowell; her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Chris Anderson of Church Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Bledsoe of Kokomo, Ind., Mrs. Mary Holt of Surgoinsville, Normel and Betty Anderson of Church Hill; four brothers, Elmer, Billy, J. C. and Lowell Anderson, all of Church Hill.

The body will be removed from Wilson Funeral Home to the home of her parents at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at Piney Grove Church at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Hubert W. Strickler will officiate. Burial will be in the Winegar Cemetery.
