Johnston, Mary Elizabeth (Gulliford) Age 97, on Fri. June 5, 2009 of Sheraden. Beloved wife of the late John W. Johnston; daughter of the late Loren Ernest and Malinda (Bowman) Gulliford; mother of Carol (the late Darrel) Gillette of Chicago and Diana (Patrick) Devine; sister of the late Martha Blackie and George Gulliford; grandmother of Keith (Susan) Devine and John Devine, Russell (Shannon) Gillette, Susan (Patrick) Walsh, Steven (Lisa) Gillette; 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and newphews.
Mary was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheraden and was active in Meals on Wheels, the Sheraden Women's Club and sold Avon for many years. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid bird feeder. Friends received SUNDAY from 1pm until the time of the service at 3pm at William F. Conroy Funeral Home, 2944 Chartiers Ave, Sheraden.
