Prominent Retired
Farmer Is Dead

Relatives in Canton received word last evening of the death of Benjamin F. Brock, a prominent retired farmer of the Ipava neighborhood, and which occurred at the home of his son J.F. Brock, north of Ipava. Death was due to tuberculosis with complications and followed about a year of ill health, the last month of which Mr. Brock was seriously ill.

He was about 68 years of age and for many years had been one of the leading farmers of south Fulton. In recent years, he retired from active business life. He was a prominent Mason and had a host of warm friends throughout the county.

Mrs. Brock died about 14 years ago, and the children living are two sons and a daughter—J.F. Brock, near Ipava, Meredith Brock, north of Lewistown, and Mrs. Walter Fink of Canton.

The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of J.F. Brock, and burial will be in the Ipava cemetery.
