Large Audience Attends Funeral of Aaron A. Hershberger on Friday Afternoon.
On Friday afternoon at two thirty o'clock, funeral services were conducted in the Presbyterian Church, over the body of Aaron A Hershberger, followed by interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The services were attended by an audience that packed every available space and was made up of a large delegation, of Knights Templar of the Wooster commandry in full, uniform, and officers and members of the Knights of Pythias lodge, and the Local Masonic lodge and members-of the Eastern Star, as well as friends and neighbors. Taking for his text "This Same Jesus," Rev Christian preached an eloquent and forceful sermon in which he paid tribute to the splendid qualities of Mr. Hershberger as a man and a Christian. Following the sermon the-Prelate of the commandry took charge and the beautiful ritual service of the Masonic order was read. The body was conveyed to the hearse by members of the Shreve Masonic Lodge, and upon arrival at the grave the solemn committal service of the Masonic order was read by the local Masonic order. All business places in Shreve were closed in honor of Mr .Hershberger during the services
