Mary Ann "Annie" is the daughter of Michael and Sarah Adlaie Robert Gordy. She had one sibling - a sister, Caroline Elizabeth: 1825-1847.
Annie married Benjamin Hudson 12 Mar 1833 in St. Mary Pa., LA. They had 11 children who lived. They lived their lives in Bayou Sale where Benjamin established himself in the sugar business started by his father. He would be involved in 3 sugar plantations. North Bend, Midway, and South Bend. He built his home on the Midway. He built a legacy that remained in the Hudson family for many years. Annie is my Gx2 grandmother. Annie's COD: "General Debility" listed on the LA Mortality Schedule for Mar. 1880.
