12/4/2001: Janet was only 9 1/2 when she passed away from a recurring tumor of the brain. She was a beautiful little girl, very smart for all she went through with her illness. She had 3 brothers. Michael, Steven, Brian and Karl. Karl was her half brother from her Dad's 2nd marriage. Her Mother and Father's name was Elsie Madeline Blades Pierick and William Herman Pierick. Her paternal grandparents was William and Carol Pierick of Madison, WI and her maternal grandparents were Ernie and Myrle Blades from southern IL. I wanted to make this grave site for future family tree searchers. Today is Janet's birthday, she would be 40 yrs old. I still miss her. Mommy
