Grace Fehse

Grace Lucille Fehse, 92, of Burlington, died at 9:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Park View Care Center in Burlington.

Born Dec. 16, 1907, in New London, she was the daughter of John and Kate Kellogg Warth. She married William Fehse on Sept. 12, 1931, in Monmouth, Ill. He died Aug. 29, 1999.

Mrs. Fehse was a graduate of New London High School. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ and Senior Citizens Thursday Group.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Fariss of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Warth of New London; and two sisters, Helen Sater of Mount Pleasant and Edna Latta of Burlington.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one great-granddaughter, three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Fehse will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Vicki Engelmann officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for St. Luke United Church of Christ.
