"Elizabeth Brakey Dies at Gallipolis"
"Elizabeth Brakey, 21, a former resident of Lorain, died Wednesday in the hospital at Gallipolis. O., following a year's illness.
Ms. Brakey was born in Lorain. She moved to Detroit with her parents in 1928. While living in Lorain, she attended the Fairhome school.
Besides her father, Peter Brakey, she is survived by two brothers, John and Peter, Jr., and three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Mallott, Mrs. Mary(sic) Bergquist, and Mrs. Glenn Averill, all of Detroit.
Her body was removed to the Reichlin-Reidy-Scanlan funeral parlor here where it will rest until 2 p.m. Saturday when funeral services will be held. Rev. L.C. Hallock, pastor of the 20th-st M.E. church will officiate.
Burial will be in the family lot in Elmswood Cemetery."
