Levin and Eliza (Hays) Huff lived in Fauquier County, VA (where the Wrights were from) in 1830, then in Pike Township, Coshocton County, OH, from 1833-1860, but then by 1870 they had moved on to Macon County, IL, which is where they are buried. Several of Catherine's siblings are also buried in various places in Illinois, and some further west, in Colorado and Montana.

In 1860 she and her husband and their two children lived on a farm in Pike Township, Coshocton County, OH. William owned real property worth $2400 and personal property valued at $1847.

In 1870 she and William and their two children lived on presumably the same farm. But the real property he owned was valued at $600 and the personal at $800, so they may have taken over her parents' old place or moved somewhere else.

In 1880 she and her husband and their son lived there.

In 1900 Catherine's grandson, Austin Meek, his wife Daisy, and their son, Dorris, were living with her, presumably on the farm where she had lived most of her life. She owned the farm free and clear--no mortgage.
