Services for Mrs. Ethel Browder, 72, of 2636 I, are pending at Becker Funeral Home. Mrs. Browder died about 2:45 a.m. today at her home. She had been ill since June.
Mrs. Browder was born April 4, 1890, in Collins County, Tex. She came to Jackson County, with her family in 1901. She was married to B.C. Browder in Jackson County, April 16, 1911. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1961.
In 1950, Mr. and Mrs. Browder came to Lawton, after living in Jackson and Harmon counties most of their married life. A member of Church of Christ at 28th and Cornell. Mrs. Browder had been a member of a Church of Christ for 41 years.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. W. R. Masters, Fletcher, and Mrs. Clyde Taylor, Eldorado; seven sons, R. B. and William J., both of Quanah, Tex.; R. C., of Gould; J. C. of Altus; Frank E., of Amarillo, Tex.; Ollie R., of Tulsa, and Lewis E., of Manhattan, Kans.; a sister, Mrs. N. S. Young, Amarillo; three brothers, W. H. Overall Denton, Tex.; H. C. Overall, Oklahoma City, and J. A. Overall, 2411 E. 22 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
