Mr. Beck, of near Rest, died Monday and was buried Wednesday. His wife preceded him five weeks and a day.
Both were past 90 years of age, had lived in Wilson county long years and were useful and valued in their walks of life.

Died, at his residence near Rest, March 14, Grandpa Beck, aged 89.

Son of Andrew Beck. Husband of Mary (Carney).
Father of John K,; George Washington; Richard Andrew; Sarah Jane; William; Margaret Malinda; Peter T.; and Charles Wesley.
In the 1820's, Peter and Mary moved from Washington Co, Pennsylvania to Franklin Co. Ohio, by covered wagon. Later they moved to Morgan, Sangamon and Macon counties, Illinois. In 1884 they moved to Colfax Twp., near Rest, Wilson county.
Died age 89 years, 3 months, 24 days.
