Wayne Basil Jenson
Age 79 of Marshall passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1930 in Glendoro, Minnesota to Joseph and Dorothy Jenson. On April 30, 1951 in Angola, Inidian he married Eleanor Jean Jones who preceded him in death on May 5, 2002. Wayne was a millwright for Hayes Albion for 31 years when he retired. He loved bowling for which he has many trophies, loved to farm after retirement and traveling to Florida for the winters. He was creative with wood crafting, enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a member of the Albion Moose, Albion Eagles and the V.F. W. of Albion.
Wayne is survived by: Daughters- Karen Thomason of Battle Creek Shelby Neeley of Marshall Cindy (Rod) Stone Sr. of Marshall Companion- Vera Young of Marshall Brother- Jimmy (Sue) Jenson of Minnesota (9) Grandchildren (14) Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Eleanor; sisters Lucille, Ila, Joyce and Marian; brother Marvin; and two great grandsons.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion with Pastor Kim Wilcox officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, October 11, 2010 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 6:00PM -8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion.
