Former Township Highway Commissioner and Veterinarian Succumbs to Heart Attack

Adjet Craw, for 62 years a resident of Caro, died after a few hours of illness at his home on West Burnside Street, Friday, June 1st [1927]. He had been a sufferer from diabetes and death was caused from heart failure.

He was born at Davisburg 70 years ago, and came to this County in 1865. For years he was a veterinary, and had filled the office of Township Highway Commissioner. He took a great deal of interest in public affairs and was widely known throughout this section. July 1, 1875 he was united in marriage with Elizabeth C. Kolb who, with one daughter, Mrs. Ferris R. Jameson of Saginaw, survives. He also leaves five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. J.M. Denyes of Saginaw; and a brother, Charles F. Craw of Detroit.

Funeral services under the direction of Huston-Armes were held at the home Monday afternoon, Rev. J.T.M. Stephens officiating, with burial in the Caro Cemetery.
