Ora Melba Hanna, 88, formerly of 802 W. Adams St., died Sunday in Muncie Health Care Center after a long illness.

Mrs. Hanna was a lifetime Muncie resident and attended Muncie schools. She also attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God and Northside Assembly of God.

Survivors include two sons, Tom E. Hanna (wife-Ginger), Muncie, and Charles P. Hanna (wife-Anna), Shippensburg; four daughters, Mary (Perk) Huffman (husband-Kenneth), Betty Davidson and Edith Matthews, all of Muncie, and Alcenia Pursley (husband-Myron), Redkey; a sister, Vera Rhinehart, Muncie; 30 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Clifford Hanna, died in 1963. She was also preceded in death by five sons, a daughter, a brother, two sisters, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
