Sonny was a tall, lanky, easygoing guy who loved life and country music. He was never happier than when he was playing his guitar and singing a few country or gospel songs. He often entertained at the Veterans Home in Norman, at various senior citizen centers, the Lions Club, and a host of other places. Sonny loved his children and extended family and he loved and cherished his beloved fiance' and faithful caregiver, Gale, and her extended family. He treasured his friends, whether they were lifelong friends or those that he had met only recently. He loved his God and he loved his church family at First Baptist Church in Moore. All who knew this extraordinary man undoubtedly will miss him, and will be blessed with special memories of time they shared with him.
