"MAESER, WALTER HARLOW, 90, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Robley Veterans Medical Center.

He was a retired self employed tile setter and owner of Walt's Tile Company, a Navy veteran of World War II, survivor of Pearl Harbor, and a Catholic by faith who attended the old St. Clement Parish.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Lou (Lenhart) Maeser; eight children, Dianne Burkes, Janice Lattus, Nancy Davis, Walter Wayne Maeser, Stephen Maeser, Mark Maeser, Sherry Winders and Robert Maeser; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Kentucky Central Veterans Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from noon-8 p.m."
