Virginia Todd Rupert, age 87, of Florida, formerly of Moundsville and Cameron, died Friday, October 15, 2010 in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born June 3, 1923 in Cameron, the daughter of the late Vere and Belma Cox Todd. She graduated from Marshall College, was a retired cash specialist from Chevy Chase Bank, Presbyterian by faith, and a loving wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother John Todd; two sisters Doris Clark and Donna Sue Washburne. Survivors include her husband of nearly 63 years James M. Rupert; four children Mary Ellen (Jim) Wooten of Tucson, AZ, Henry (Sheena) Rupert of Atlantic Beach, FL, Martha (Larry) Bloomfield of Wheeling, and Janet (Bob) Blazovic of Wilmington, DE; two brothers Richard (Maxine) Todd of Mt. Olivet and Donald (Shirley) Todd of Murrysville, PA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services by the family will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
