1618 Florence St., Kaukauna, Age 47, passed away suddenly at 6:55 a.m. Friday. He was born July 27, 1915 in Neshkoro, Wis.. As a child he moved to Wrightstown and has lived in Kaukauna since 1937. For the past 5 years he had been employed by the city of Kaukauna. Mr. Hardy was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna and the American Legion. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors are his wife; Renata (Gehrke) Hardy; his step-mother, Mrs. Maurice Hardy, Wrightstown; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Jane) Schaefer, Kaukauna and Mrs. Ronald (Connie) Coffey, Rt 1. Greenleaf, Wis.; two sons, William, Colorado Springs, Colo. and David, at home; four brothers, Charles, and Thomas, both of Kaukauna, William, Milwaukee and Maurice, Green Bay; one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Kathryn) Neuman, Appleton; 4 grandchildren. Funeeral Services are pending at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna.
The Funeral service for Mr. Hardy will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna. The Rosary will be prayed 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
