Age 77, of Pahala, Hawaii, passed away September 24, 2010 in Pahala. Born March 9, 1933 in Ewa, Hawaii. Francisco was retired civil service employee of 34 years as a Security Police & truck driver at the Barber's Point Naval Air Station & Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He was the Sensei instructor and owner of the Shiki Shin Funi Karate School in Waipahu, and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War with the 2nd Infantry Division.

He is survived by wife, Diane Akhay; sons, Francisco (Regina) Akhay, Jr., Wayne Akhay, Glenn Akhay; daughters, Doreen (Stanley) Ballo of Pahala, HI, Crystal (Edwin) Masulit of WA; step-son, Jarvis (Brandie) Canoy; hanai son and daughter, Randy & Lala Yoro; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation 5:30 p.m. Saturday (October 23) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
