Born in Readyville, Cannon Co, TN, and lived there until 1918 when he moved to Chattanooga, TN. Stayed in Chattanooga until WWII when he took his wife, children, and parents to Chicago, IL where he and his Dad worked in a war plant. After the war ended, his parents went back to Chattanooga, and Robert and his family moved to Indianapolis, IN where he lived until his wife's death in Oct 2003. He then moved to live with his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tom Brewster, until his death in Oct 2010.
