He is survived by his faithful companion Mary Skelton of Roswell; his son Kenneth Skelton Sr. and wife Ellie of Highpoint NC; his daughter Lynette Tusing and husband Fred of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters: Susie Roberts and husband Garry of Roswell, Mary Reed of Glendale, AZ, Dorothy Vanginault and husband Valton of Winsboro, TX; three brothers: Bobby Skelton of Grand Prairie, TX, Jim Skelton and wife Carolyn of Grand Prairie, TX, and Tommy Skelton and wife Claire of Odessa, TX; his brother-in-law George Peterson of Grand Prairie, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Pearl Skelton; two sisters Linda Skelton and Ellen Peterson; and his son Daniel Lynn Skelton.
His memorial service was held Friday, October 22, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Christ's Church, 2200 Sycamore in Roswell.
Lynn will be laid to rest in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with full Military Honors due to his service in the Vietnam War.
