Survivors are his wife, Melta Mae Allmond of Vidalia, a daughter, Mrs. Kermit (Dealva) Frost of Lyons, two sons, E.R. Allmond, Jr., and Quay Allmond of Vidalia, a step daughter, Mrs. Mellrea Register of Vidalia, and a step son J.L. Underwood of Newport News, Va., two sisters, Mrs. Henry Gay and Mrs. Buck Bailey of Vidalia, two brothers, Carlton Allmond of Swainsboro and T.R. Allmond of Higgston, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Kibbee with the pastor, Rev. John P. Quattlebaum and Rev. Monroe Dennis officiating. Intement will be in the E.F. Allmond Family Cemetery in Kibbee.
Pallbearers will be J.H. Memory, A.L. Hamilton, Louie Calhoun, Kenneth Hamilton, Roy Calhoun, and Charles Hamilton.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
