Jim was born on April 28, 1957, in Seattle, Washington. He went to be with the Lord on Oct. 19, 2010. Jim lost his battle due to chronic rejection after receiving a double lung transplant in September of 2008. Jim was a fun, spirited man who was devoted to his family. He loved fishing, camping, volunteering in his community and most of all, spending time with his family. He and his wife Lisa were married on Jan. 21, 1987.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Darold Lyle Bair sr. & Marie Jane (Bjork) Bair.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lisa; his Children; sisters, Char and Sandra; brothers, Leroy and Lyle; many nieces and nephews; and family dogs, Sadie and Bernard. Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Salem Vineyard Church, 4750 Salem Dallas Hwy, Salem, OR 97304. A reception will follow.
