WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. - The Rev. James E. Fields, 80,
of Williamstown, Ky. died Monday, Oct. 18 at his home.

He served in pastoral ministry for more than 40 years, serving in pastorates in Newport, Ky., Falmouth, Ky., Highland Heights, Ky., Sardis, Ky. and Alexandria, Ky. In 2007 with his wife, he began Christ Community Church of the Assembly of God in Williamstown, Ky. He also was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rhonda Morgan Fields; son, the Rev. Jimmy Fields of Lexington Ky.; daughters, Kim Fields Lyman of Gaithersburg, Md., Lisa Fields Adams of Honolulu; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at Christ Chapel Assembly of God in Erlanger, Ky. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Ky.

Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Newport, Ky. is handling arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to spice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042; and Christ Community Church Assembly of God, 139 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
