The doctor, it is said, underwent a gall stone operation on November 16, from which he never recovered. His body will be buried in Tampa on Saturday, it is announced.
Dr. Hicks formerly practiced dentistry here and had many friends throughout this section who will be deeply grieved at his death. He is survived by his wife, who is a sister to John Karl Willcox of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Hicks Green of Perry, Florida, and three sons, Dashwood, Willcox and Candler Hicks, all of Tampa.
