According to the Iowa, U.S. Delayed Birth Record, Thelma Evelyn Harrison, daughter of Ray Vernard Harrison and Alma LaNora Stanbro, was born 10 April 1915 in St. Marys, Warren County, Iowa.

On 23 August 1934, Thelma married Edwin L. Phillips in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington. They were divorced on 6 February 1941. On 6 September 1941, Thelma married Ward Edward Dull in Stevenson, Skamania County, Washington.

Thelma died on 23 October 1994 from kidney failure. Her obituary, in part, reads: "...Mrs. Dull worked for Bridal Veil Lumber for 12 years and for Western Wood until she retired in 1975. She then began repairing for Timberline Lodge the same hooked rugs that she had helped to make in 1936..." (The Oregonian, 25 October 1994)
